Hi,

I am presently a PhD student in UK finishing soon. I had recently received a job offer from a Canadian firm. While going for this Job interview to canada I had applied for 3 months visitors visa (march-may). And during that application I had stated my maritial status as Single. Although, I had a marriage ceremony few months back in India (Jan), but I didnt have a Marriage Registration Certificate at that time so it was not offically legal. Now I have the marriage certificate (which specify a marriage date i.e Jan and Registration date i.e June) and I wish to apply for work permit for myself and my wife who is also a student in UK at the moment but I think she can apply for open work permit. I would like to know if there will be any problem with our visa application because of this discrepency.

I will appreciate any help regarding this matter.
