I'm Canadian, Husband is British

Wondering if someone can help me.

We are currently living in the uk. I have my uk right of abode and are thinking about going to live in Canada as we have free accomodation with my family etc.

I'm trying to find out what he would need to work there and would he automatically be eligible as we are married now

If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated

Many Thanks

He would need a work permit to work in Canada. This is not automatic, but an open work permit could be sought if you receive approval-in-principle in an inland spousal sponsorship application; prior to this, a job offer is typically needed to seek the work permit.
