I would like a work visa in Canada- Married to a Canadian

I am from the Bahamas and married to a Canadian Cititzen attening Western for nursing. We have applied for my cititzenship here in Canada but I would like information on a work visa in the mean time. Can anyone help me with this??

If you secure a job offer, the employer would need approval of a LMO application, on the basis of which you could then seek a work permit. Alternatively, you could potentially seek an open work permit following approval in principle of an inland spousal sponsorship, although this may not permit for employment in your field (due to medical examination requirements).
