This is a question which every person in India, wishing to work in canada, would like an answer to. It is so difficult to get to know the process since agents in the field have shrouded it with so much complexity and suspense. Moreover, this lack of information results in the execution of a very large number of hoaxes which causes a large number of people to be deprived of their hard earned money.

1. I would simply like to ask as to what is the process and who are the agencies in Canada that we should approach to apply for a work permit in Canada and what is the fees involved?

2. Which and where is the application that we need to fill and whom do we need to forward the same in the Canadian government?

There would be a number of other questions that would need answers but if we can begin here I think it would help sort a lot.

The typical requirement, as described throughout this forum and this site in general, is that you have a job offer from a Canadian company. There are very few situations in which work permits can be obtained otherwise. If you do not have a job offer, then you likely cannot seek a work permit (the most common exception is youth exchange programs for a handful of countries).

If you do have a job offer, then it is reasonable to assume that you have had a fair amount of interaction with the Canadian employer. The cases of fraud that you describe are commonly situations in which the fraudsters describe Canadian job offers to foreign nationals, although the foreign national has had no real interaction with that Canadian company, and have generally not made an effort to follow-up with the claimed company to verify the credibility of such.
