I work as actress and contemporary circus performer, and my purpose is to move to Canada to work. My will is to move to Canada permanently, but what I'm getting from websites infos is that isn't simple- even if I could probably apply as self-employed person.
So I'm trying to understand if and how should I obtain a work permit, without having already an employer and being outside Canada, or if I should try to apply for permanent visa as I explained before.

What do I have to do being an actress to move to Canada and be able to continue to do my job?

As a general rule, you may seek your temporary work permit only once you have an offer of arranged work in Canada. It is not clear that you would be presently eligible for a permanent resident visa, such as that issued in the Skilled Worker Program.
