I'm hopeing to get some answers here as my resources are nearly exhausted, I cannot afford the fees most of those sites want so fingers crossed cos I'm running out of ideas here

I'm 28 and English, I've met a girl in Ontario 3 years ago, we have talked for hours every day and have been in love for 2 years.
The time has recently come that we can be together.

I want to move out there leaving my whole life behind to be with her and her son, I have the offer of 3 full time jobs and will be moving in with her straight away.
I have never been to canada, I have no health issues nor criminal record.

I will need a work permit to provide for her and her son for 1 year until I qualify to apply for spousal residency.

I have been in the building trade with others and self employed for 7 years, altho I am perfectly capable of most jobs I have no piece of paper to say so.

Please can someone help me, I need to know what work permits I can apply for and what I need to do to get one. Any information will be much appreciate.

Thank you.

There are 2 main approaches that you can consider:

1. A work permit application. This is a shorter application process for a visa which would typically be valid for one year, and which may be renewable. From the information that you have provided, I would expect that HRSDC Confirmation of a Canadian job offer will be required for eligibility.

2. A permanent resident application. This process may take as many as approximately 18 months depending on which category you pursue. Your options are the Skilled Worker program or the Family Class program. The selection of category would depend on factors such as your education (Skilled Worker program), and the nature of your relationship (Family Class program).

Thank you for reply David :)

I am currently looking into skilled worker permit but not looking good due to lack of credentials on paper.

The trouble being I can not talk to a human being about anything without paying vast amounts of money I do not have.

I wonder if possible you could enlighten me as to how sponsership works? the sites and phone calls I have made don't really help.

I need to know what sponsership is possible, I have no relatives in canada , can my partener sponser me? or her family? if so what credentials/earnings/savings would they need to do so?

This is incredibly difficult, I love this girl, she loves me and we will be together forever I hope, all we need is a chance, thats all we need, I will pay txes and never claim a penny from canadian govermenet as long as I live, never have from uk gov. I just need to be with my love, my heart needs a companion and it has one but red tape will not allow us to unite :(

Please if possible can someone help!
