Hi David,

I passed an application for a work permit last december 2006. Two weeks ago i made an inquiries and canadian immigration representative told me the status is "on process" and when i asked again yesterday he said the status is "for visa". I just wanna know what does it mean ("for visa")? Is it in a point wherein canadian immigration officer will have a final verdict? or a visa has been approved by an officer already?

Although cryptic, it would suggest that the case is slated for issuance of the work permit.
