I am not aware of any specific sites that would list jobs for retired military people. The standard job boards in Canada most of the listings. INDEED.CA being the best site for job search.

You would have to get your credential certified here in Canada. The best way is to contact the various nursing schools in the province you wish to immigrate too. It will not be easy, though we do need nurses here.

Dimitry:

You would need explore the job boards in BC and see what jobs are available.

Good English skills are now essential for coming to Canada. You may want to start English lesson now, before you start to look for work.

You need a job offer before the employer files for an LMO. What you need to do is establish that you are qualified to practice Nursing in Alberta. then you need to do all that you can do to find a job. Alberta is not the easiest place to find work in Canada right now. you should try Ontario, BC, or the East coast Provinces.

Dear Andrew,

I have been reading your posts with great interest as I would like to apply for a permit to work in Canada. I also would like to send you my CV/Cover Letter sample for you to tell me whether I am eligible to work in Canada and whether coming from a Commonwealth country advantages me or not in finding work in Canada, but I have not been lucky to find your email address anywhere.
