I'm currently in Canada on an open work visa that expires June 8th 2012, i've been offered to work in an apprenticeship type job, how am i able to extend my stay here? can i apply while I'm here in Canada?
still confused about the LMO terms and etc.

As youth program and IEC work permits are not generally eligible for renewal, it is expected that your employer will need to obtain a LMO prior to your ability to receive a new work permit. In a case like this, it will typically mean that the employer will need to demonstrate that a sufficient recruiting effort was carried out in Canada, and that any Canadian that responded to the ad is not qualified for the position.
