i am on post-graduation work permit of eight months but it will expire on 27 Nov 2012 and i am living with my Boyfriend from last 1 year from may 22 , 2011. i am living in Saskatchewan and had completed the 6 months. So I am eligible to apply SINP( Saskatchewan immigration nominee programme) on 15 sep. But my work permit will expire before the result of SINP will come. because the processing time of file is from 8 - 12months.So please give me advise that how i can extend work permit till the result of file will come. I don't have LMO. But i have permanent full time job offer letter from my employer. So according to me i have two option one to extend my work permit with job offer letter or by common law partner. Because my boyfriend have 3 year work permit till 2015. Please suggest me the best option according to you.

There is not enough information here to determine a suitable strategy for extension of a work permit. The general rule is that a Labour Market Opinion is required. Unless some specific exemption from that requirement exists, an application for extension would be expected to be refused. We are in relation from 8 years, just two days ago we got married. Now still i have two and a half month work permit. my husband have 3 years open post graduation work permit.... please suggest me what we can do. i wanna work here, i wanna live with him.
My husband did post sec diploma in Electromechanical engineering from Toronto, and he also have mechanical bachelors degree but here in Saskatchewan he is working as service technician.

If your husband possesses a work permit and is conducting work that is classified as high skill according to the National Occupational Classification, then you may be able to apply yourself for an open work permit under the provisions of Canadian Interests.
