Engaged US Citizens

My fiance is looking at a pastor job in Vancouver. It is our understanding that he will be exempt from having to obtain a work permit due to the "clergy" position. I will eventually follow after we get married in the US. I don't have a bachelors degree or certification for a skilled job. Will I be able to get a work permit after we get married and I move to Vancouver?

There are no provisions for issuance of work permits to fiance(e)s of foreign workers, unless you can demonstrate that you meet the definition of a common-law-partner (one year of cohabitation). There are provisions which allow for issuance of work permits to certain highly skilled foreign workers, eligibility for which would partially depend on the NOC classification of that foreign worker's occupation.
