I am a US citizen and I have just been accepted into a Canadian program that incorporates academic work with an internship. The internship/handson learning will take place at the same institution concurrently with the academic work.

Based on what I have read on the CIC website, I will need to apply for a study permit and a work permit under exemption C30. I know I can apply for the study permit at POE with a letter of acceptance, but can I do the same for the work permit?
