hi,
My name is Delano, what i would like to know if you have to be well qualified to obtain a work permit to work in Canada, lets say the job offer is for a hotel work and they would provide training, and so forth would u not be eligible for a work permit for such jobs? An does Canada takes Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) passes as a means of qualifications for job offers?
Looking forward to your response, thank you.

A candidate for a work permit must meet any academic and experience requirements stipulated for a given occupation, whether that be following a Labour Market Opinion or an exemption of such. The type of position that you describe would be subject to a LMO; if the employer specifies minimum experience and training requirements for the position, then (assuming the LMO is approved) the work permit requirements should be consistent with such.
