Hello,

I'm a university student in the States and I'm looking into getting a summer internship in Canada. I live in the U.S. and have American citizenship, but I was born in Canada and also have Canadian citizenship. As a citizen, but not a resident, would I need any kind of visa or permit for a summer internship? What about if I took full-time employment?

If you are a citizen of Canada, then you do not need a work permit to work in Canada, regardless of residency.
