I am from India and currently holding a temporary work Visa for Canada untill Dec 2011 and i am currently in Montreal, Canada. I got married in April 2010 after i got my Visa. My wife is currently working in India and want to come in Canada on dependent Work Visa after leaving Indian Job.

Please advise:

1) Which Visa I can file for her to get a dependent Work Visa to find a job in Canada?
2) Where do i need to submit the application for her (India or Canada).
3) How much time it will take to get a dependent work visa in this case?

To work in Canada, she will need a work permit. If you have a work permit valid for greater than 6 months and work in a position classified as high skilled, then the provisions of Spouses/Partners of Skilled Workers. Such an application will be processed at a visa office in India and will likely take 4-6 weeks to process.
