My partner recieved an open work permit on the back of my company-sponsored 3 year work permit. He is now looking into going to university, so I was wondering how simple it would be to convert his work visa to a study visa?

Also, would I be able to apply for an open work visa off the back of his student visa?

An inland change of terms would seem reasonably viable assuming acceptance into an accredited Canadian university. Spouses/partners of foreign students are eligible to seek open work permits for the duration of the study permit.
