Hi all,
I need an opinion or suggestion of what I should do. Well currently I am working under PGWP in this one firm as an IT SUPPORT (expiration in July 2008). I graduated in Computer Science degree couple months ago and just recently been working for around 2 months now. I recently applied to Bank of Montreal through Workopolis for a software developer position which is a better and suitable position for me and so far I have passed 2 interviews and there is only one interview left. Now I know the fact that you can switch employer by going to St. Clair office bringing the letter of employment stating that they need me urgent.
Now my dilemma is that BMO hasn't known about my current status yet which is a foreign worker. I didn't lie to them about anything at all. I know that it shouldn't be a problem as long as they give me letter of employment. I guess my question is, should I tell them about my current status as a foreign worker before the job is offered. I guess I am afraid that once I told them that I am working under PGWP they will back off and reject me. So what do you guys think?
I need some answers ASAP, my third interview is going to be held in 2 days.
Thanks!
