I have a closed work permit but the job it is valid for has been terminated. I have had severel other job offers in the area. How do I change employers and do I have to leave the country?

You must apply either for a new work permit (in which departure from Canada at some stage is a requirement) or an inland change-of terms. In either case, depending on the nature of the position you pursue, your qualifications, and your nationality, a new Labour Market Opinion may also be a requirement.
