Change the type of re-enrty to Canada as Single to Multiple

Postby asavass on Thu Feb 24, 2011 3:38 pm

I'm a spouse of an international student and I came to Canada as a visitor(single entry). I applied for work permit because there is a category to apply worker inside Canada as a spouse of an international graduate student. After I get the work permit, how do I get a multiple entry?Which form do I need to fill and could you inform me which page do I need to refer in the official web site "http://www.cic.gc.ca"

Waiting for your response

When a work permit is issued inland, no entry visa is issued. A new entry visa may be sought via the IMM5275 form and supporting documents submitted to a visa office outside Canada.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply.

I couldn't find IMM5275 form, did you mean IMM5257? If so,since I'm already in Canada,is it possible to apply as a outsider? I also would like to know the average processing time to get the work done.

Thanks again
