Hi!!

I am on Work-permit and wish to change the Job.

My New employer has applied for my LMO and wants me to start asap.

I have my Medical Exam Valid and the Current Valid Work-Visa is Multiple entry.

I am an Indian National and Do not possess US Visa.

I wish to know:

1) Can I get the WP changed at the Port of Entry?
2) Is a U-Turn at the Canadian-US border sufficient to get the WP changed?

A citizen of India (other than a permanent resident of the USA) cannot process a work permit application at a port of entry. Your case would have to be submitted to a visa office outside of Canada or to the inland Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta.
