The company I work for has equipment installed in Canada, during the warranty perioed we are asked to provide on site service support requiring the use of tools and test equipment. Is this activaty civered by the NAFTA agreement as a Business Visitor and not require a tempory work visa. Our company is in Ohio, USA.

As a general rule, in-warranty work of commercial or industrial equipment is exempt from the requirement of a work permit under the provisions of Business Visitor, including those provisions of NAFTA.
