I received my authorisation for a work permit this week and can now travel to Canada. However, I am moving to Vancouver but wish to stop off in Toronto to see family members for a period of 2 weeks. Can Toronto be my point of entry even though I will be living in Vancouver? I also require medical surveillence. Does this complicate things further?

The POE at Toronto can issue the work permit, but the work permit would have an expiration based on the date of that issuance. Medical Surveillance would be initiated once you reach Vancouver.
