Applying for a work permit

Postby kimbo on Mon Nov 30, 2009 6:43 pm

Hi,

Last year My boyfriends parents moved to Canada.
My boyfriends parent applied for a visa for him and we figured if he goes over and gets into a career he enjoys then one day i could go there too.
I went there to visit and i fell in love with it.
His mother works at a company who were very interested in employing me but we later found that his parents could not sponser me until they are complete candian citizens.
I would like to apply for a work permit to go over but i am not sure how it works as to whether the company will be able to supply a HRSDC as i think they were hopeing i would be able to be sponsored.
Does this HRSDC that is required for a work permit have any negative affect on the employer?

Can anyone help thanks

Kim

Applying for Confirmation does not have any negative impact on a Canadian employer.
