Hi,

I plan to apply for my PR while working as an Intra-company transferee with a temp work permit. I do not need visiting visa as I have Portuguese passport.

I have some questions:

1) Can I apply PR while I am working in Canada, i.e. submitting all documents to immigration office in Canada?
2) With work permit, is this a positive or negative influence for me to apply for PR?
3) With my PR application submitted wihtin Canada, will it be negative effect when I try to extend my work permit in near future?

2. In most cases positive, in many cases extremely positive.
3. No, there would not necessarily be any negative impact so long as the officials are satisfied that you are a bona-fide temporary resident at the time of your application (i.e., that you would leave Canada if you are required to do so).
