I am a citizen of the Philippines and have a work permit until May 2007. I wish to change employer. Will it be possible for me to apply at the border for my new work permit as a Software Developer? Will it be okay to apply for a new work permit while working still with my current employer?

Port of Entry work permit applications are permitted only for those who are exempt from the requirement of a visitor visa. This is not the case for citizens of the Philippines.
