A question about medical exam after getting work permit

Postby hoaicat on Thu Mar 01, 2007 1:55 am

My case is that I already received a letter of work permit. In the work permit, they remarked: "must undergo medical exam within 60 days. Medical instructions have been mailed separately..." and then I also received a medical instruction.
So I want to know that:
1. What happen if I do not get a medical exam because I already have a valid work permit? Will I have to take a medical exam?.
2. Do you know how much does it approximately cost for a medical exam ( I am living in Windsor, ON)

The medical costs around $160 and can be done by the list of doctors posted on the CIC site. They send the results directly to the CIC so you just need to send them the receipt.

Thanks for your information. But do I need to take medical exam because I hold the Work Permit in my hand now? And what happen if I don't take that medical exam?
