I arrived Jan 2009 with a 2 year work permit, Is it true that with the new rules of CIC, I can only extend and stay for 4 years starting the day I arrived with the original work permit? Please advise. Thank yo

Such a four year limitation is part of proposed legislation for certain types of cases. It is not apparent how this will affect your case as yet.
