Dear friend..

I am in a confused state of mind..I really do not know whether $ 1000 i have to carry to show at port of entry.It is mandatory or not. I am newly accepted permanent resident for Saskatchewan province under SNIP program..As i have found that they have used word "At this time, you may also be asked to show proof of your funds." in there official site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/ ... n-03.asp...

Can any one get me out of this rule...If i have to carry then in which way it will be more convenient..

Evidence of proof of funds may be in any form that demonstrates your possession of assets in a liquid and transferable form. You do not necessarily need to be in possession of currency as long as the requirement is otherwise fulfilled.
